This policy explains how THE SLICK OBX HOLDINGS LLC, doing business as Edgecamp ("Edgecamp", "Edgecamp Sporting Club", "Edgecamp Weddings", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit edgecamp.com, contact us, book a stay or event, or receive text messages from us. Edgecamp is located at 26186 Otter Way, Salvo, NC 27972.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, event dates, guest count and anything else you enter in our inquiry, contact or booking forms, or share with us by email, phone or text.
  • Booking information: when you reserve a stay, our reservation system collects the details needed to complete it. Card payments are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Website usage: cookies and similar technologies record pages visited, the site or ad that referred you, device and browser type, and approximate location. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot for this.

How we use it

  • To answer your inquiry, prepare quotes and plan your stay or event.
  • To send you the messages you asked for, including text messages if you opted in.
  • To operate, measure and improve our website and advertising.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (for example our reservation, payment, email, CRM, analytics and advertising providers), under agreements that limit their use of it, and when the law requires it.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you agree to receive text messages from Edgecamp, we use your mobile number only to send the messages described in our SMS Terms. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in or consent data with third parties, affiliates or non-affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.

Your choices

  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Text: reply STOP to any message.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings.
  • Access or deletion: email us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
